I agree with most of you. The Office is still a funny show, but IMO 30 Rock has surpassed it.

I just did not dig the opening to the last episode. Yes, it was funny but I didn't feel like it jived with the show real well and thought that the whole "fake fire escape exercise" thing was way overboard even for Dwight. Since they have solved the threat of cut-backs storyline, there hasn't been a prominent one since that to kind of tie the shows together. There's been small plots here and there, but nothing that has really affect on the Office itself as a place of work.

Why does anyone think they'd possibly make Karen pregnant with Jim's child? I took it as Michael (as always) being an idiot when he says "I'm just trying to think of how long it's been since you and Jim had sex"

I just watch the show and enjoy it. I don't really nitpick over each episode. As long as it's funny, I will watch.

Haha, Andy taking Creed's advice didn't turn out quite as bad as I would have expected.

Very good episode -- more normal stuff, nothing crazy or out-of-character. SO glad they didn't do anything stupid with the Karen thing -- handled it well.

Very good episode. They went back to basics. This one was a good deal better than last weeks. My favorite line was Dwight saying, "What kind of cake do you want, Imbecile?" Classic Dwight.

The scene where Dwight and Jim are doing the camera interview was hilarious and Creed calling Andy 'Jim'. LOL

That was decent. Jim and Dwight trying to plan the party was pretty good. Michael's whole speech scene was brutal. Seemed kind of weird to bring in Karen for that kind of episode. I thought there would be more to it.

The first picture she showed of her and her husband was glossed over pretty quickly. Dude's head was like 90 degs. bent over to get close to hers! I thought it was one of those subtle funny moments.

One of the better episodes. I laughed plenty of times last night.

As for that comment about 30 Rock? Last night's episode was just BRILLIANT.
