I agree. I was really happy to see Michael able to negotiate not only up to 60,000 but for all 3 of their jobs back. To be honest, I have been really happy at how well they have shown Michael and his competency level the past couple of episodes and hope that they keep with this trend instead of running him back into big-dummy territory.

It seems the writers have found their groove again as this show is hitting on all cylinders right now. I don't think it's any coincidence that the show seemed to get a lot better once all of the relationship stuff was resolved.

I agree. Everything is just going so well. Jim is back and Dwight looked like a moron again.

Absolutely. This recent stretch of episodes might be the most consistently good the show has been since season three.

Agreed, the last two especially.. really good stuff. I wonder where they're gonna hide Charles since he's not fired. Idris is done with the show after this ep or the next one I believe, so he won't be a main part.. maybe they'll hide him in Utica or Nashua.

I love Michael.. "I'm not gonna say it. Totally fine." (elevator opens, he's doubled over) "Ahh god, I'm worried I'm gonna say it..."

Great episode... just great. Had me laughing out loud a couple times.

I love to see how smart Michael actually is. His negotiation tactics were great.

Hahaha, I did. I went from "Damn, he's good!" a few minutes earlier when he justified why his company is worth more than 12-grand to "OH NO!" when he said that... lol.

Hah, at the cafe I worked at, we had 'steamers' which were just steamed milk with the various flavored syrups. It was mostly little kids that had them.

We made one as a special and called it the Cleveland Steamer... the owners weren't too happy when they saw the sandwich board sitting outside.

Couple questions I have.

How on Earth did Wallace agree to take back Ryan? No way that would EVER happen after what appeared to be an arrest and some sort of indictment. Then again, it is a TV show.......

What happens/happened to Charles? Is he gone?

Was nice to see Michael get his revenge and not let Charles say goodbye. His negotiations were top notch and put the screws to Wallace (i dont have to wait out DM, i just have to wait out you)

I assume they'll have Charles be in a far-away corporate position or something along those lines (i.e. another branch) where he's not fired, but he's not involved with the show any longer. David said he's not firing him, but maybe that will end up happening due to his mis-management of the branch.

As far as the Ryan thing, I agree that would never happen IRL, but I supppose if DM was really worried about losing their business, they might make that kind of concession.
