And if anyone knows Smallville series, they are reaching beyond the traditional Superman series.

They have changed everything from the timeline of Lois and Clarks meeting to the timeline of when Doomsday kills him.

Lex is dead! Why would he clone a burned up mutilated version of himself, that is stupid.

Fact is he's gone from the show, in which the producers already said this would be his final series and he would only make 1 or 2 appearances. And he did and they offed him.

Now they can go further into the series with a more focus on the Justice League and Metropolis scenario and in that process L & C can get together Chloe will have a longer life span with Jimmy Olsen, etc. But Lex is out and hopefully new nemesis and enemies can arise without Clark's secret always being the main plot around everything. And he can stop feeling protective and sorry for everything.

And finally grow some coconuts and start flying and beating the breaks off some bad guys.

Apparently Rosenbaum made his "encore" appearance in Identity, so it could be the end of his portrayal of Luthor , but I'm not convinced the character is actually dead. Of course he could be given that he apparently knows Clark's secret, which throws everything out of whack anyway.
I thought it was totally unnecessary to bring Lana back and fill her with Kryptonite to end the love affair. The last few episodes wasted time in resolving something that didn't need resolving. Lana's absense and Lois's presense was enough. The 9th season apparently hinges on whether Tom welling signs, so there is no guarantee. One episode guide I looked at has the next new episode slated for a month from now.

People know the show takes creative freedom with the Superman license but that doesn't mean everyone has to be accepting of the storylines that have been presented. The episode where Clark becomes a cop to find out who shot Manhunter was rediculous as extensive testing and background checks usually take place before one just hops in a police car and starts patrolling the streets. Lana with powers, too much Chloe, Clark's continuously annoying self-righteous attitude (That's S though)Lex gone (even though I knew it was coming), Manhunter no powers. I like Lex's replacement Tess though. It's hard to keep a show like this going where everyone is happy though.
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

Thanks for clearing that up BS. Maybe you can let me borrow your 3rd eye so I can try and see the diamonds buried within all the excrement this show has been putting out. It's been hit or miss all season. Mean you know disrespect. enoy the season.

lol, well she was hacking it when they first got the idea of him going undercover. And it was set up specifically to be that guys partner.

But you comment doesn't harm me, the show is hit and miss and sometimes I hate it, but overall its just filling in the blanks for something big.

The show has fallen off since the mid January restart, and even before that I wasn't blown away by the Doomsday angle. But you are right, there is some filler before the big stuff, and that anticipation had me enjoying this season more than any. With the exception of the Legion story the newest batch of "Lana Laden" episodes has been a minor disappointment.

There are so many times where I want to stop watching this show. Right when it feels like things are moving forward, they take like 2-3 steps backwards. I still watch every week, but I think this show really needs to end this season. It ran its course and there has been so much filler throughout the entire series. The last 2 weeks, Best Buy has had S7 for $34 on Blu-ray and I can't find myself to pick it up.

I really thought they had a chance to save this show but they completely fumbled the Lois & Clark thing, and the show is really just nothing right now. It's sad, someone should just save it from itself.

Nah, far from the death knell of the show just because they did a 3 story mini arc with Lana at the center. With Lois back and the Daily Planet at the center of the action, the series will rebound.

I'm a little behind, but as expected the series has been officially renewed for a ninth season on February 24th.
Probably leaked by CW is the fact that two pivotal characters will die in the May season finale. Yesterday multiple sources confirm the deaths will include one veteran of the show, and one "not so much". The heavy money is on Lana and Doomsday.

I guess I'm in denial, because in the Legion episode the visitors from the future had no idea who Chloe Sullivan was and yet Lana had made her mark historically. Chloe is so popular, but who else-Martha Kent?

yeah im going off them not knowing who she was, so she might be going six feet under soon.
