If I may vent for a minute.

I hate Sheldon. He's a baby who always gets his way and ruins all the fun for everyone else. They all go along with it and let him have his way instead of punching him in the nose.

Honestly if a friend of mine acted like him and the way he does toward all of his friends, we either wouldn't be friends anymore, or I'd punch him in the nose.

I understand that's his character, but the dining table episode for instance, they all wanted it but he was a baby and got his way. Just like last night how Howard bought Sheldon's mom candy and flowers and Sheldon was going to take credit.

Sheldon annoys the hell out of me.

Yeah, the last couple seasons he's become more and more of an *** and less funny to me too.

If I had to rank my favorite characters it would be:

Howard
Penny
Raj
Bernadette
Sheldon
Leonard
Amy

Sheldon's not last, but he used to be my favorite. There are still some funny stuff, like when Amy was brainwashing him, but more than likely his scenes annoy me like the Valentine's Day train episode. I really think Amy is the root of my growing dislike of him. They've made Sheldon more and more less human because of Amy and her attempts to make him a normal boyfriend.

All that being said, it is still one of the top 3 comedies on TV for me right now.

Yeah, it's a good show.

This happen to me years ago with this show. When Leonard couldn't step up and try to fight for Penny, I almost rooted against him getting her because he needed to quit being a weiner, and try to win her.

This season has sucked. Seasons 4 and 5 are still my favorites. Not sure what they're going to do for 3 more years

I've said it before, there has been no drop off for me. The show has always been consistently entertaining.

The thing about BBT in first few seasons is that it was more about comedy than anything else. Storylines were mostly all comedic as well.

The show today focuses more on serious relationship type of storylines. Obviously done because BBT audience has grown and they want to cater to the new audience who started watching BBT cause it was popular.

Sheldon and Amy is more serious than comedic? Howard and Bernadette? Both matches wouldn't occur in the real world, although Howard/Bernadette is more plausible.

If you were happier with the original group, minus Bernadette and Amy, that's one thing, but you will never convince me that the show is less funny than it was when it started.

Probably the most annoying thing about the show. They have a fight every episode, I used to like both characters but now both are at the bottom IMO.

Ironically, for me, but Howard has become the pivotal character these past couple of years. His earlier shtick of being a horn-dog sleeze-ball has been replaced by a somewhat cool confident nerd. He is still far from perfect but I actually laugh at him more than any others (commenting on Amy's noise-cancelling breasts was classic).

We have too been kinda complaining about Sheldon's actions. My gosh how awful he is, bordering on being an ***hole.

Raj could be so much better but is still a pathetic loser.

I really wish they would turn the plot loose and push forward. Let Howard and Bernadette have a baby, could you imagine Howard as a father, lol. Let Raj finally have a relationship. Let Amy finally form Sheldon into a real boyfriend. Sheldon getting laid would do wonders! What I have always thought would be a cool storyline is seeing Penny finally get her acting break and drift away from Leonard but finding her way back to him, or something like that.

I still love the show but I wish it would get off cruise control.

I enjoy all the characters, but is there a Big Bang Theory without Sheldon?

He's the catalyst for much of what happens.

With three more seasons they have to either have Penny and Leonard get married, have a baby, and/or have her acting career take off.
