The ending to the episode made it great. That was pretty much a one man show by Sheldon at the end and he nailed it.

Anyone else see the inevitable Penny/Leonard reconnect coming soon?

I thought the same thing.

Anyways, this is the funniest show on tv IMO. Sheldon keeps getting better as the show goes along and already is one of my all-time favorite television characters.

What happened to Stephanie (Leonard's girlfriend)? Weren't they still going out at the end of the last episode?

I'm wondering if Leonard's attempt to dump her worked, and they just had ex-sex?

I'm guessing that'll be cleared up next few eps. Great one this week, I was dying when Sheldon was hugging Penny. "Look Leonard! Sheldon's hugging me!"

I also see the spark between Penny and Leonard. They just have that little connection still, but i like how they're not just rushing through everything.

They didnt resolve that very well (yet). She probably had a 3 episode arc and they just ended it. We all know whats gonna happen anyways.

I think with it being a holiday episode, the story idea was probably thought up a while ago and they might not have known whether the stephanie story arc would be over or not when the script was written.

It is a plothole if they're together and didn't spend xmas together, but it was also abrupt how they ended penny and leonard's relationship. This show's not like HIMYM where they follow up on every little thing, it's just a good old fashioned comedy. Plus, now they have the option of bringing her back, saying that she spent xmas w/ her family, or they can just kill her off.

The Leonard/Penny relationship is Ross and Rachel 2.0 lol. I'm not saying that is a bad thing. I'm just saying.
