Her character on this show is one of my all time top ten "fifth bananas" in TV history...

She dominates every scene she's in...

        Honorable mentions / examples:

Betty White in The Mary Tyler Moore Show

Larry, Daryle and Daryle in the second Bob Newhart Show

        Newman in Seinfeld

        Etc.

You know, not a star / barely a co star role...but pure comic gold every time out of the box / scene stealer...

This show has really done a great job with letting each character shine recently. Rather than let the show get old by continuously focusing too much on Sheldon, the writers have done a great job expanding the cast (Bernadette and Amy are both hilarious additions) so that they can "spread the wealth" in terms of material. Don't get me wrong, Sheldon is my favorite character, but this way they won't run the risk of overusing him.

The two episode revival of the Penny-Leonard courtship started out with a Big Bang as he boldly asks her out in front of the girls, but really stalled, particularly in this episode.

Pardon me if i'm a week behind or not but I loved the whole "bug report" aspect of the last episode LOL

Poor Raj falling in love with his phone and then dreaming about the woman and not being able to talk to her. That was hilarious.

I agree with the others, the writers have done a great job of making this a truly ensemble show. Early on it was a very close knit kind of show with Leonard and Sheldon being the focus but they've really done a bang up job in having all the characters have their moments.

Oh and I too like seeing "Blossom" on the show as well.

Yeah, wasn't in love with the "bug report" or the phone thing. The "Fun With Flags" was OK.

I'm probably in the minority on this, but it was one of the weaker shows in the entire series for me.

I didn't think the bug report or the phone thing was that funny, but "Fun With Flags" and Sheldon and Amy constantly getting interrupted and starting over instead of redoing that part was hilarious.

It wasn't a great episode but I laughed real hard at Kripke bitching about the voice recognition on his phone and the phone telling him "I don't know what a westauwant is".

I've never seen an episode of this show in my life until last week. I was sick for a couple of days and repeats were on Peachtree TV so I gave it a look. I must say, it has really started to grow on me. My sister has always urged me to watch it but I just dismissed it as I assumed it was too geeky and scientific for me.

I just started watching this a few months ago and know it's right up there with Modern Family as my favorite comedy.

Rode an elevator with Mayim Bialik yesterday at our T^3 International Conference. She's the new spokesperson for TI calculators. She left the conference this afternoon.

I started watching this show a couple of months ago (watched quite a few episodes from 3-4 different seasons). I must say that even though I hardly laugh (it's ok, not that funny, in my opinion) I still enjoy watching it for the atmosphere. I find it fun and likeable, though not extremely entertaining. Still watch it from time to time.

When my wife first saw it, she thought it was a show about aliens (especially Sheldon and Howard). But I agree, Sheldon could have made a great character in Third Rock from the Sun.
                              My Specs:

                              OS: Sinclair BASIC

I like the show, but it's not my favorite. I actually think Sheldon, Howard, and Amy are way too over the top. I enjoy Leonard and Penny as characters - I actually like the show a lot more when they're the focus.
