No, I think she is a bit more reclusive and private than he is. I only see her at formal functions like awards and charity dinners...but never saw her about town. Then again, it's the luck of the draw when you run into these famous people. They used to attend the Westport Theatre fairly often and were big supporters and backers. But I know some people who have met her and she is very nice and accomodating. Just a wonderful couple who never took themselves too seriously. And both a huge talents.

Nice to know. In a 1998 interview with Larry King he explained his good marriage as a combination, of lust, respect and patience. Not exactly a pat answer.

first thing i said to my wife when i heard the news, "cool hand look has died." great actor man, and a very diverse dude when it came to his interests. though 83 years is a good run, still seems too soon. i guess no time is/was enough when your time comes...RIP...
