The first time I saw the movie I thought the score was very un-Star Trek like, however the 2nd and 3rd time seeing the movie I realized how perfect it was.

Re: Star Trek: The Movie
I finally saw ST this past week. Awesome film. The cast was superb and I can't wait for the next one.

Re: Star Trek: The Movie
They hit the nail on the head with this. I've never really watched any of the t.v shows and I thought this film was fantastic. So much so, that I've seen it twice! The cast was fresh and young and believable. I loved 'syler's' character. I reminded me of him as a bad guy in heroes but then brought likeability as well. And how about that dialogue. Script was wonderful. Dare I say better than Wolverine.."I'm the best there is!"Comment

I don't think there's any disputing that this was much better than Wolverine.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Star Trek: The Movie
I enjoyed Trek more, because it stuck closer to the original. I felt they digressed too far in Wolverine. They took too much license.-August 17, 1960Originally posted by VP Richard M. Re: Star Trek: The Movie
I saw the movie at an Imax theatre. It wasn't in 3D, but it was shown on a HUGE(!!!) screen. Great experience and a good movie.
By the way, When I've been to the US in 1998, when I went to Vegas I went to The Star Trek Experience at the Hilton Vegas hotel. It was A MUST for Star Trek fans.My Specs:

Re: Star Trek: The Movie
I was told Star Trek was enjoyable to watch even if you had no interest in Star Trek before. I wish this was the case. I thought the movie was horrible. The acting was pretty good but that was the only positive of the film. I didn’t care about the Star Trek universe at all.

Re: Star Trek: The Movie
It was an introductory movie for those not versed in the mythos of the Star Trek universe. I say, give the upcoming sequel a chance as it should be a bit better then this movie was.I was told Star Trek was enjoyable to watch even if you had no interest in Star Trek before.
