I just want to throw this out there as a general warning to the public at large, but if somebody spoils this movie ala Harry Potter book seven I will absolutely flip out.

I cannot believe the trilogy is almost over with. I remember reading about Batman Begin's production online at Batman on Film and just being blown away when watching it in theaters. I still get chills when they flip over that Joker card at the end. Then of course the production of TDK. It just seemed like every day I was thinking about the movie and looking for new pictures/videos. Not to mention the viral marketing, holy ****.

      Kind of bitter sweet guys.

If there's ANY out and out spoilering in this thread, it will be met with a immediate ban.

Things MUST be put in spoiler tags if its anything remotely considering a spoiler, especially as we get closer and people start to see it however they see it.

Yea I remember first seeing that scene like it was yesterday. When he flipped over that card I was like then once I realized all the possibilities of the next movie with the Joker I was like

Yea, once TDKR ends I'll def have that bittersweet feeling. I just hope the powers that be don't mess with the legacy of this trilogy by doing cheesy spin-offs with an over-the-top director.

Maybe it'll cheer you up to know that the "powers that be" are going to be consulting with Nolan and Emma Thomas on the production of the "reboot."

I wouldn't mind a lighter approach. Maybe in the style of Grant Morrison.

I feel the same exact way as you.. I think the moment that blew my mind was the line that was delivered by Liam Neeson " But is Ra's al Ghul immortal? Are his methods supernatural?"

It's definitely bitter sweet. Two Weeks away Fellas!

I went to a Saw marathon prior to seeing Saw V at midnight. It started at 4:00 PM on that Thursday. I still have the ticket somewhere. It was good stuff, but I mostly did it because the theater made some strange mistake early on when I got the tickets, and it ended up being cheaper than seeing Saw V regularly.

I don't need to bother with seeing the other movies in theater before though, mostly because I already own them on Blu-ray. However, I don't know how early I should get into San Francisco for the IMAX midnight showing. Maybe 9:00 PM ish? I'm going with three buddies, and want to ensure four decent seats for us.

                  EDIT: Here's that ticket, anyway...

If I was going to a movie theater to see Saw for hours on end, I feel like it'd be a no-brainer to keep a see saw in the lobby (or maybe in the theatre itself) so we could see saw while we saw Saw.

After looking at that video on the bottom of the page, I still think "John Blake" may become Robin at the END of the film. It just makes too much sense after reading the viral marketing on Blake being a "Rogue" cop and all. Ya know, the same name of Gotham's football team with the "R" symbol.

Yes I know Nolan says he'd never have Robin in his films, but he was skeptical about Catwoman and it seems Selina Kyle's character will fit nicely into Nolan's universe. I just have this strong hunch the ending of this film coming full circle by having Blake become Robin, Catwoman being an anti-hero, and Talia al Ghul (Tate) becoming the love Bruce thought he lost with the death of Rachel. At least then, Nolan will have introduced most main characters in the Batman comics while also not directing the movie with the character of Robin as a cheesy plot point. And if another director wants to pick up from there, then that's their prerogative.

From what I understand the Robin styled "R" was on a sign brought by one of the clever "fans" at the football game. I don't believe that sign will be seen in the final cut of the film as I'm sure it was brought to Nolan's attention shortly after releasing the trailer.

So you think the director of the movie, Nolan, had his team release one of the main trailers of his movie without realizing that "R" would be there? Idk man.

But then again, I could be dead wrong about everything. I just think that'd be a helluva ending of what I explained in my previous post.
