It's not so much that, but just the fact that The Dark Knight was written and filmed with the idea in mind that the Joker was going to return for The Dark Knight Rises either takes away from one movie, the other, or both. If they knew he wasn't going to be in it, who knows what changes could have been made as a result and for the better.

No, she's going to be the burnt corpse of Rachel Dawes. Maggie Gyllenhaal asked for too much money and Katie Holmes will be scheduled to film Sex and the City 3 at the same time as the TDKR shoot.

I hope somehow that Liam Neeson makes a cameo

I read an IGN article a few days ago where he said he isn't in the movie.

Even though director Christopher Nolan has set his Batman films in a more or less real world setting, some fans have still speculated that Liam Neeson's Ra's al Ghul character -- last seen taking a dive onboard a plummeting train -- might return to the series. What do you think was his answer?

We spoke to Neeson this past weekend and asked him if he will play Ra's again at some point. The character, after all, is virtually immortal in the comics.

His response was that he "definitely" won't be in the next film and hasn't even been approached about it, but he'd maybe kick around the idea of returning as Ra's down the line sometime. We definitely got the vibe that Batman Begins was just a gig and didn't mean all that much to him. In fact, he picked Superman as his favorite superhero when asked -- he said Batman was too gloomy.

Oh, and he'll be filming Clash of the Titans 2 when Dark Knight Rises shoots anyway.

Right, but if that was the only idea in mind then I could agree. Its not as if The Joker's story wasn't resolved. As great as Heath was as The Joker, I want to see Batman/Bruce Wayne first and foremost.

I actually thought about posting the first one, but its not exactly what I had in mind. I was thinking like actual scenes, not trailers. The second one is hilarious. @ Maggie's face with Ellen's voice.

Yeah, I figured you had seen those but assumed it was worth posting them anyway.

And yeah, that second one is hysterical. The video quality is bad, which makes it better, and the audio doesn't always synch up....but it's hysterical.

Or when he is interrogating Flass and he says swear to ME. Do the brmmmmmm.


Etc. Basically anytime after a one-liner or whenever somebody says Batman.
