More JGL casting rumors (from B-o-F), just going to paraphrase it:

-The fact that anyone thought he'd be playing "the Joker's brother" is hysterical because the Joker has no family.
-The recent "Alberto Falcone" rumors could be possible, but anyone reporting it right now is jut guessing as nothing has been revealed.
-Ra's al Cool from Batman on Films slightly sarcastic idea: "Harold Quinn," Nolan's take on Harley Quinn, a psychologist from Arkham who has been studying/working with the Joker and then goes crazy and flips out.

I think the Falcone story could actually work. Especially if they went "Long Halloween"-esque - some things would, obviously, need to be changed.

Black Mask or Red Hood

That poster looks sweet.

I can see Black Mask being the main villain in the third film to fit with the whole mob storyline. It would make a lot of sense if they were still moving in this direction. I don't think that Red Hood could work as the original was Joker and the second one was Jason Todd, which was never introduced in these films.......but this is Hollywood and things can be re-written for the film vs. the comics.

Scenes will be shot in India and, apparently, a "big scene" will be filmed at the New York Stock Exchange.

BoF's take on the latter? "As far as the NYC locale, rumor has it that JGL is playing the New York Stock Exchange, but that can't be confirmed."

Semi-big casting news rumor from Batman-on-Film:

Marion Cotillard as Talia?

It's in French, but the story basically says that Cotillard has signed on for BATMAN 3, will join the production in LA this Summer, and will be the second female lead next to Anne Hathaway.

Keep in mind that Cotillard is pregnant, but she's due in May. Therefore, she certainly could be available for TDKR and its nearly 6 month shoot.

Anne Hathaway has already nabbed the role of Selina Kyle/Catwoman. So would Cotillard be playing? I was told a while back that there was "A third major character that ties it all together." If true, my money's on it being Talia. (Thanks to BOF'ers "Childeroland" and "ScarecrowAA" for the heads up!)

No, she's going to be the burnt corpse of Rachel Dawes. Maggie Gyllenhaal asked for too much money and Katie Holmes will be scheduled to film Sex and the City 3 at the same time as the TDKR shoot.
