Oh wow, he looks really different.
Hopefully I won't be left disappointed because the first two were pretty untoppable. I am honestly at a loss as to what they could do to finish the story out. I hope the hype doesn't kill the movie for me. I don't recall me being this hyped for the previous two.Comment

Glad that the ending isn't in the script. I wouldn't want it leaking out or something stupid.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
It'll get leaked in some way. It's quite hard to keep something like that a secret in this day and age. I'm really looking forward to this movie. I wonder if maybe Bane beats up Gordon at some point which explains their screen time together.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
Big casting news - big for the role, not for the actor, that is. I'm going to put it in spoilers because it may ruin a surprise for someone, though B.o.F. didn't even really consider it a spoiler.
SpoilerJosh Pence has been cast as a "Young Ra's Al Ghul." No idea if this means a ressurected Ra's, or a flashback of Talia and Ra's or what have you, and this was news even to the BoF guys which is usually hard to do. This also should confirm Marion Cotillard as Talia, though nothing official has come of that, yet.Comment

SpoilerMust be as a flashback. The idea of a resurrected Ra's doesn't fit the current Batman movies. Obviously that it part of the character in the comics, but it doesn't fit in to the more reality based Nolan universe. Ra's died at the end of Batman Begins, it should stay that way.Last edited by mgoblue678; 04-09-2011, 03:54 PM.My Teams

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
SpoilerThere's just not enough time in the movie for Ra to play a role of any significance.Plus I still believe in the Nolan universe Ra Al Ghul is a title not a person."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
SpoilerThat is true, but any other outcome would be pretty much impossible with the way it played out. Nolan has a pretty specific take on how he wants to portray this Batman universe, and coming up with some convoluted way of Ra's surviving would seem pretty outlandish in that context. My guess is Talia will be in the movie, and the Ra's will appear in a flashback with her.My Teams

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
Spoiler
That's my thinking as well. Ra's was "immortal" in the sense that it is simply a title. A "young" Ra's doesn't necessarily mean its the same character.

If Zack Snyder ever does an original Batman, I want to see Poison Ivy in it.
