    There is not one flaw, not one, in Billie Jean. The arrangements are fantastic. Violins, rhythm guitar, bass, beat. MJ's vocal performance was spectacular. But the lyrics. The lyrics. Take what we know about Michael Jackson out of the equation. Just listen to the words. You can't tell whether he's guilty or not. Is he offering his defense? Or is he lamenting not heeding the warning signs? Is he a victim of extortion? Or has his secret come out? You can't make a definitive answer either way. That is the true beauty of that song. You can just listen to it repeatedly, imagine the scene playing out & get a new story out of it each time. I remember when it came out & we'd have debates among my friends & classmates about what the song meant. We even theorized about who "Billie Jean" was. It was so well written, you thought it was autobiographical, not a fictional account. Perfection.

            I saw Michael with his 2 kids the other day shopping here in Vegas while I was at work. I wanted to see some Smooth Criminal dance moves but alas all I said was hi and left him alone.

                            His voice was much better when he was younger. After Off The Wall was when he started losing some of his voice.
