Side note, since I see so many damn people bringing the acting up. The "actors" werent actual actors and were just everyday people cast in the role, ie. the main kids in the movie, its what they wanted when they cast the part and its what they got. Again, those were not actual actors.
No I laughed at all his stupid racist comments but the movie just wasn't good. I don't care if he hired people who weren't actors, it was a horrible decision. You can hire people who aren't normally actors but can do a good job, look at The Wire. These people were terrible and I don't know how a director could look at that main kid especially and say "I have to keep him in this movie".

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I know you're notorious for hating everything, but you're on point about this movie. Nothing about is said great or even good. It was watchable but nothing special.

Enjoyed this one. Clint Eastwood and the daughter had me dialed in. The boy was annoying.

Some parts felt like a rip-off of Karate Kid.

I rented this one last night along with Hamlet 2. Watched H2 but haven't gotten around to Gran Torino yet.

Looking forward to watching it tomorrow.

That's how I felt. I didn't feel like I had wasted my time, but I didn't get the whole "OMG THAT WAS AWESOME" feeling either.

I liked the movie. Probably because of Clint Eastwood. I cherish the opportunity to see him act just as I cherish watching one more Griffey at bat or as of last year a Favre pass...you know there aren't too many more opportunities to experience it.
