It's really hard to tell.. coulda been either claire/charlotte

and yeah jack took it a lot better than I thought he would, but man they piled it on him.. janitor .. then that.. but then sawyers screwed just as bad as soon as jack left he looks over and sees kate.. and then were reminded just how powerless he really is when shes around

I haven't had this many oh **** moments in awhile. That whole plane scene was intense.

I just hope they don't drag out the whole Jack-Kate-Sawyer-Juliet love quadrangle story.
That scene with Sayid and little Ben was really creepy.

Wait wait wait...

Are Sun/Ben/New plane people not in the same time as Jin and the Dharma Initiative crew??

How is there an "old" picture of something shown to Sun when it hadn't happened yet... if they are on the same island at the same time??

Nope. Jack, Kate, Hurley, and Sayid are in 1977. Sun, Ben, Frank, and the rest of the plane survivors are in 2007. Why some travelled in time and others didn't is a mystery?
The runaway was built in 2004/2005 by the Others (with some help from Kate and Sawyer), probably because someone had told them that the plane was going to crash on the little island.

Pretty good episode, best one so far this season in my book.

One thing I noticed when Sun and the pilot made it to the island and talked to Christian, the smoke monster appeared when they were on the dock. Almost like it was looking to see if the people arriving would contradict time. I can't wait to see if Big Ben runs into Little Harry Potter Ben.

Also when Sayid got the sandwich from Ben and then realized that was a little Ben Linus. You could just tell that there was no way he would be eating that sandwich. Although there is probably something else in that bag as Ben was a hostile sympathizer.

Sawyer owning Jack was great. Finally. But like some other poster said, I hope they don't spend a whole episode on the love story conflicts between those 4. We already get that.

I guess that explains why Ben is laying on a cot with the other wounded in the Dharma station. They must have found him knocked out. Does he have post concussion stress syndrome yet? He's been knocked silly in every episode. He should have trembles by now.

I think the people who were firing on the Losties a few episodes back while in the boats are that New guy that was in 1st class and his crew.

So you guys say Faraday is back at the wheel? I must have missed that. So what is he attempting to do there? Move the island back to a precise time?

Oh, you're really gonna make me get on you for this, huh?

The episode even had a huge title card that said "30 Years Before/Ago" when they jumped from Sun on the Island to Jack and company on the Island.

I don't know about Jack. So Sawyer owned him. Man, I get this feeling that Jack is going to screw up more crap because of his giant ego and pride.

Probably won't happen as Ben is in 2007 right now.

I think you're on the right track with Smokie, but it can't be a time issue because there is none for Sun, Frank and Ben. They are in 2007. If anything, Smokie was making sure that the unidentified travelers weren't harmful to the Island. Once it recognized them, it left.

Yeah, the smoke is definitely calculating something. So if Faraday is at the wheel, maybe he's going to move everyone forward. But I initially thought(and this is entirely speculation) that they were all going to jump back to 1977, unwind all the stuff that Ben has done(because Ben always makes a point of saying "who cares" when people die. Its coming accross as evil, but I think its more implying that in the end, its not going to matter because it will be undone.) and then move everything forward with a different outcome.

So anyway, I anticipate at some time either Big Ben runs into little Ben and havoc ensues or 2007 Ben goes back to the main island in 2007 and the SMoke Monster calculates that he isn't supposed to be there and havoc ensues.

I'm still believe that Ben will end up sacrificing himself and be "one of the good guys" when its all said and done and most if not all of this will have never happened except possibly only in the memories of the Losties.

As much as it seems it's headed in that direction, I would be disappointed if that's how Lost ended. Everything just being undone like it never happened? I mean, I can take a bit of it because that's basically the point now. They need to save the Island and being in 1977 has some reason for this. So they are undoing something. But, if it were something like "It was just a dream" kind of deal, then that would be stupid.

I hate Jack. I'm glad Sawyer owned him.

The one thing I don't like though is how half the show is turning into 'power play' type thing.
Between Jack and Sawyer and then Locke and Ben.

Who wants to guess that Faraday is "Jacob"?

And every episode I'm more and more convinced that the Losties are the original inhabitants and they're stuck in a loop.

One thing that bothers me though. Shouldn't Ben wake up and remember his meeting with Sayid?

Another thing to consider. Who's to say the skeleton found in the VW Van way back isn't Jack?
