I'm with ya brother! Never got to see Sepultura live but like my 3rd concert back in '96 I saw Pantera, White Zombie and Deftones in Milwaukee that was an awesome show! Seeing 3 awesome bands in one show in pretty rare now, although I'm checking out The Sword/Machine Head/Metallica in January that will rule!

December 8, 1989, The Cult came to town. One of the best concerts I've ever been to.
When I was just a little boy
I asked my father what would he be
Is he like Wrighty, or Titi henry?
Here’s what he said to me
oh Vela Vela, our Mexican superstar
      He’s better than Lou Saha
      oh Vela Vela…

I saw that Pantera, Zombie, and Deftones show in St. Louis in 96. I've still got my cowboy from hell 96 t-shirt too

What's the deal with 'former' headbanger? Once you are, you never stop.

If you like Metal, then you need to check out Marc Rizzo's solo albums (the second being the better one):

That's the best video I could find for that song.

Question to you guys, did you all headbang enough to cause neck problems later in life? I've always wondered

Two of the best shows I've ever seen, 96 Metallica with Korn as the opener, 98 Korn and Rob Zombie.
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

I was into it hardcore until I hit about my mid 20's. I still pop in one of my old cds once in a while though.

I saw that same Pantera/White Zombie tour down in Orlando myself back in '96. One of the best shows I ever went to.

In fact, I grew up to be a musician. I am the lead vocalist for this band:

My first concert was with my parents was the Carpenters in the early 70's. I saw a lot of Neil Diamond with them as well.

My first concert w/o my parents was Foreigner w/Nick Gilder(Hot Child in the City) in 78. I saw Kiss with Judas Priest in 1980 with the disco tour of I Was Made for Loving You single.

Kiss was dying out at this time. I know they didn't sell out the concert.
