I'm happy with it, though now I had to get the dashboard friction holder for 25 bucks on amazon (the windshield one works, but my dashboard's at a good level to put this, so I'll do that.
Crap, I paid $44 bucks for the friction holder at BB. It works like a charm, though. I thought the dash one wouldn't hold well on the windshield and might block vision.

I bought the 750 model, (doesn't have blue tooth or traffic is optional) and I paid $198.99 for it at Sam's Club on Black Friday. The only thing I'm going to do is put a check mark on U-Turn's for avoidance. The unit told us to make a U-Turn at our destination, but it wasn't a good place to make a U-Turn.

I woulda done the same thing you did and gotten it at Best Buy, but Amazon happened to send me an e-mail that was suggesting other things to buy and it happened to be on sale...

I also have the U-Turn box checked, I don't like to U-Turn that often, it's easier to avoid.

I purchased the Nuvi 880 simply because once I found out it had voice control, and from reviews it worked great, I just couldn't imagine life without voice control. Yes i'm one of those people that companies love - the 1st adopter of technology who grossly overpay. But I did get the unit for $515 which is nearly half the retail of $999.99 so i'm happy about that. And yes as I stated, the voice control simply 0wnz.
