In store Blockbusters should have all the movies on release day as usual (though, I didn't know people still used BB - all of them went out of business here), but any shipping rental service, like Red Box, Netflix, Blockbuster's Mail service, etc. will have to wait.

I believe that is how it works.

Instant streaming is the future, anyway. So any deal that moves us toward that is a good deal IMO.

I hate waiting for discs to come to me, and I hate not getting the best out of my rentals when streaming (not Blu-ray quality). Blockbuster it is for me.

I heard something that Netflix is putting more attention towards instant streaming in 2011. I hope we get better instant watch movies on Netflix. There are good ones currently, but more newer ones would be nice.

Not a movie, but a very good Canadian TV series called "Heartland". I created a thread for it, but so far ignored. I'll bump it once, then mention it here and that'll be that.

Speaking of shows we just finished Life on Mars. Pretty crappy show, but I guess it kept my interest and my wife enjoyed the whole 70's thing going on.
