Guys who are looking for an under the radar type film, check this one out. Received pretty good reviews from RT.

I'm not usually into under the radar "indy" type movies but the ones I like I tend to really enjoy. I'll look into this one.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Slumdog Millionaire
I guess I'm the only one not terribly impressed by it. The cinematography was amazing, a harsh look into the lives of some of the poorer parts of India was interesting, and the pace of the movie was well done. But the only character I really had any reaction to was Salim, the older brother. The main character and the girl was sort of .... eh. The plot was very predictable, and I'm the one that usually doesn't like to predict anything about a movie, but it was painfully obvious from the start. I didn't hate the movie, I just wasn't overall wowed by it.Comment

Re: Slumdog Millionaire
I absolutely loved this movie and I'm glad to see it's getting alot of recognition."Maybe I can't win. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that."Comment

Re: Slumdog Millionaire
I just watched it last night. I heard it was good from one of my friends and I saw it posted on here but kinda dismissed it not knowing what it was. I IMDB'd it last night and saw it was like an 8.7 so I decided I'd see it. The storyline in text seemed kinda cheesy and cliche to me but the way they managed to show it in the movie was fantastic. I had a little bit of trouble getting around the accents but all in all it was great. Yea, it was a little predictable although it had enough balance to leave reasonable doubt in my mind as to if what was going to happen was really going to happen.
But it is a great look in lives of impoverished Indian kids. Great movie anyway, extremely surprising to me.
