as for these 2 Gump is completely overrated, and Dumber is actuall pretty funny so.... Dumber it is.

Forrest Gump.

Dumb and Dumber was a great comedy, and I love it, but it doesn't even deserve to be mentioned in the same breath with Forrest Gump.

Well, for starters, the story is very good and the acting is great throughout the movie.

I thought Zemeckis did an extremely good job directing it.

I thought some parts of Forrest Gump were great, especially the Captain Dan stuff. Unfortunately, a lot of it was boring. I voted Dumb And Dumber.

Zemeckis did a great job. but the story comes off as little more then an excuse for what in the end is an super extended cut of Billy joels 'didnt start the fire' video.

I didn't see it that way. I thought the movie did a good job of depicting what was in the book.....some of our nation's most historic moments in the past 50 years as seen from one, simple-minded man who didn't have a bias either way on any of the events.
