LOL! I agree, I was wondering the same thing. Who will replace Conan. My wife asks me to change the channel everytime she see's Conan - thinks he is "freakish" looking.

I wonder if Fallon does take over the show from Leno if he has Horacio Sanz on as his first guest. Can I get an over under on that?

So basically Leno and Conan are moving up an hour, and Jimmy Fallon will get a talk show where Conan had his?

Pretty much. Fallon is going to have The Roots as his band though.

Yeah... I think they are going to stop going on tour and be on the show. Probably got a nice chunk of change and was tired of being on the road.

Exactly. The music industry is practically dead so they werent making money from their records. They will make more money from this gig then they would have if they kept touring. Also, they can always do gigs here and there.

NBC didn't want to lose Leno to ABC which was about to happen.

I like the guy personally, but that's just me. He has alot of knowledge about cars too which they should let him talk about a bit more.

It's a bad deal for Conan. Conan still has to follow Leno.

And who wants to watch a talk show with Jimmy Fallon? Let me guess, his gags will be the same stuff he did on SNL.

A late night talk show format at 10 PM? I don't know how that's going to work. I can see it working only because Leno is the host and it ends the glut of dramas on every single network at that hour so it'll be a viable alternative. Actually in that sense Leno's new timeslot should garner HUGE ratings.

As for Jimmy Fallon taking over late night? It has Chevy Chase written all over it. Fallon is gonna be a huge failure. It'll be interesting to see how long NBC sticks with him if indeed his numbers are weak.

I don't have any real thoughts about Leno either way. I watch Lettermans opening monologue, then switch depending on the guest. Any show that doesn't have Dr. Phil as a guest.

I do think that getting rid of the 10pm shows is a mistake. I sometimes watch Law and Order shows, but really what I hate to see is less comedies or drama airing. There are enough reality shows, and now a variety show 5 times a week. I read its a money thing, but no wonder networks are losing to cable channels.

I can't waaaait for the intense comedy showing on Thursdays next fall. Earl, The Office, 30 Rock, Leno, (news), Conan, Fallon, then Carson D.
