Simply put, T2 is a sci-fi classic. NCFOM was a good movie though.

I hated T2. I didn't like the young John Conner teaching the mean old Terminator to not kill people.

For it's time, yes the effects were amazing. But I thought the story sucked, still do even though I like the series.

T2 is a summer popcorn flick. I'm willing to concede that the time travel aspect gives it slightly more depth than the usual summer blockbuster, but really its just a carbon copy of the first movie but with a good terminator and better special effects. The dialogue is corny and incredibly dated and there isn't one good performance from an actor or actress in the entire film. I am shocked that its dominating this poll and I assume that is mostly do to nostalgia.

No Country... has depth and a fantastic cast. Its well acted, well directed, and keeps you on the edge of your seat until suddenly, it ends. I found the ending interesting and atypical, some just think it sucks. To each his own.

No Country for Old Men by far.

T2 was average at best, big budget action movie nothing special. The only thing better about T2 over The Terminator was the special effects.

NCFOM is a great movie, but T2 is an all time classic.

I ended up voting for T2, the movie was theeee bomb when it came out. I watched that flick so many times when it first came out on VHS. NCFOM is great and objectively a better film, but movies are meant for entertainment and I was more entertained by T2 regardless of "character depth, dialogue, etc" or any other area some film snob will through out there.
