    Musical - strike two
    ABBA - Strike three.
I don't know. I think the "chick flick" and "musical" are foul balls at worst. The ABBA is what really does it.

The only "chick flick" you can get a consensus of heterosexual males to discuss would involve little dialouge, no men & lots of silicone.

Not discussed by the guy who already has three posts on the thread.

So since I've given reason why it isn't discussed, that proves it should be discussed?

Not true. I don't think ill of any guy who liked that movie. I liked Fried Green Tomatoes. I'm saying no one should expect a convo about it on a forum where 90% of the population are heterosexual males 35 & under.

I'm sorry. I overreacted, but I thought the enormous success of the movie alone would create a little interest....maybe not.

Maybe the OP thought it would inspire guys at OS of another gift idea for Xmas for their wife/girlfriend, mom, aunts, etc...... Isn't that what the first sentence stated?

I think that is a great idea as our daughter is receiving it from her uncle. I really don't think I'll watch it, but it's a great suggestion in my opinion.

Not bad to watch... with your eyes closed and some loud music coming through your earphones.

In all seriousness, all the women in my family and my gf enjoyed it and never stopped talking about it when it was first released.

I asked my wife if she wanted the movie, and she told me she can't stand Meryl Streep in the way I can't stand Diane Keaton. So I'm off the hook!

I didn't even know this was released in theaters. Was it really successful?
Here's a confession: I'm in love with a man. What? I'm in love with a man... a man named God. Does that make me gay? Am I gay for God? You betcha.
