Re: PIP Problem on LN46A550
I've never done it before. I'm with Time Warner. I've used PIP before but only when watching to channels on TV.
Now, if I'm reading MK's post correctly, I simply starting playing PS3 as normal. Then, while playing I hit the PIP button on my STB remote and then set it up as he describes?
For whatever reason...my monitor doesn't save the settings...so when I first hit the PiP ....it just shows a black screen. I have to go into the menu and select a sub-source for the PiP each time.
Bit of a pain...but it works.

Guys when using PIP Feature, you should be doing it from your TV Remote not your Cable/Sat Remote. Hit the PIP Button on your TV Remote. Once in PIP Mode highlight the box that has no picture. Then go to the Input Button on your TV Remote & begin switching Inputs until you see a picture in the 2nd boxLast edited by bigfnjoe96; 12-21-2008, 05:44 PM.Comment

You should be able to PIP/PBP HD content if you can get HD channels OTA. I do it all the time on my Vizio. It's a nice luxury to have.Comment

I can watch HD channels in PIP. Only thing is that I make the box small, so sometimes it's hard to tell.Comment

Re: PIP Problem on LN46A550
My Samsung may be a bit older- HLR4266WX/XAA. This model also has PIP capability but for some reason I cannot get it to work. Everytime I hit the PIP on my remote I get this message:
"NOT AVAILABLE IN THE EXTERNAL INPUT". Does anyone know what that means?
Thanks.Comment
