I finally got around to watching this. It was a mean movie and definitely a 10 in my books.

My only gripe with it though was the girl. After all she went through she didn't seem traumatized at all. Also did anyone notice the way she ran? I couldn't help but laugh everytime I saw her and her funky running style.

Lol, agreed on all points, I even mentioned the trauma-less girl before. We laughed hard at her running too, we didn't quite get how it made it in the movie.

Just watched this tonight and it was awesome! I'd heard it was good but didn't expect it to be quite this cool and gritty. He acted like any parent would, he just happened to be a pretty lethal parent lol

Ditto. Like how he was a good guy, but he had no problems crossing the line to get what he wanted.

The girl was a complete moron. She way oversold it on the bubbly, happy, hyper teen girl thing. I asked my wife "Is it me, or does she sprint EVERYWHERE she has to go?", and then once she got there she did that goofy jump up and down. My wife said she was so annoying on screen that the abductors would surely return her to the condo ASAP.

When I saw it a month ago, I thought of it as a less stylized, less awesome Man on Fire. Apparently others thought the same.

But given Man on Fire is one of my favorite movies, I enjoyed this one.

Though the head bashing and invincibility did get a little excessive. This was like putting The Zohan in Man on Fire.

Yea that girl annoyed the hell out of me. Other than that and the impossible kills I enjoyed it.

That's one of my favorite movies as well..This movie didn't stop for any emotional build up...just badazz stuff left and right
