    Re: Scrubs Season 8 Thread

I just watched the entire last episode again. I didn't cry like I did the first time, but I definitely welled up.

Such a great finale. Great show.

And since we're talking about that good ending, I thought I'd share another ending I loved. Season 6, episode 19...

my ears could be playing tricks on me, but for some reason I remember that song playing slower the first time I heard it.

I'd rather them do a spin-off with the interns and not bring back anyone for anything but guest roles(like Dr. Cox appearing occasionally as the CofM).

The best part of that ending is him looking into the camera (just like the finale and another episode from season 1). It has impact to it.

Im convinced that Bill Lawrence does this to make us empathize with the character (and it works.)

I like quite a few of the new interns (Sunny, Jo, the nerdy one with glasses). I think most followers will know it is a departure, they should name the new show Scrubs The Next Generation or something just so that it isn't grouped with the last 8 seasons.

Apparently the random doctor who says "adios" to J.D. just before he gets Dr. Cox to spill his heart is Dr. John Doris, the real-life doctor that J.D. is modeled after.

What happened to Ed? First he was fired, then the last time they showed him Dr. Cox said he was lazy and he just disappeared.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I thought the last time we saw Ed was when Cox fired him.

Nah he got fired and then he showed up again and Cox figured that he hated him because he was lazy. After that he was just gone. I'll have to see if I watched those episodes out of order but I don't think I did.

Ya, I don't think that's how it happened. You must have gotten them out of order. He figured out why he hated him, then he fired him.

No, I did see him in another episode, though I can't remember if it was in the interns' webisodes or on ABC.

It was the other way around. Cox fired him at the end of the episode.

I was thinking that, but I think they'd have to bring back Turk, Cox, and Janitor, but those guys would be weird without the other 3 main people (Kelso is completely write-out-able).
