The first episode was kinda blah. It kinda felt like a first episode of a series with introducing new characters and such. I guess that's to be expected in this case.

They are gonna throw the new interns in our face repeatedly it seems. Hopefully they tone it down some because i got sick of that after about 8 seconds.

Considering that they spent half of the first episode with JD complaining about the new residents and how annoying they are...and now you guys are all complaining about how annoying the residents are, wouldn't you say the writers were successful?
They are written annoying on purpose so they will grow on you. Plus the writers did a good job capturing what interns and residents are really like. When the come out of school, most are cocky more than anything...Comment

That may be true, but i dont watch TV to be annoyed. I know they have to find a way to introduce new cast to carry the show when the established characters leave, but dont make me want to punch through my TV.
I was actually disappointed with the limited time Dr Cox had. Although his scene with JD as "equals" was pretty funny.Check out my Tampa Bay Buccaneers CFM Thread.

I loved the indian intern, I think his name is Aziz, just because he was on human giant and I love that show. Other than that, I liked the second episode a lot more than the first one, although both were better than the past couple seasons.
It felt like they were copying one of their episodes from early on in the series when all three patients of JD, Turk, and Elliot died with the emotional tone in the second one. I liked how the one intern was exactly like Blonde Doctor. I picked that out right off the bat... she reminded me of her.
