I pick Fight Club as well. I love all the principal actors and the director, but I loathe the plot and the dialogue.

Even the thread for 300 here was a big slob-job, IIRC.

Same as the Dark Knight thread. I thought 300 was overrated as well btw. There were a lot of "best action movie of all time" being thrown around.

All over rated, however Im biased I dont care for movies like transformers and star wars too nerdy for me, if its not at least somewhat realistic I dont care, but thats just me. Also hate epic movies like 300 and braveheart blahblahblah old=boaring.

Dynamite goes with the happening, quarantine, and bad boys in the 'no one thought too much of it to begin with' pile.

Apparently you weren't in an almost entirely white college when it came out. It's all people talked about for like six months. Constantly quoting it, going to theaters multiple times to see it, saying it's the funniest movie they've seen in years. Sure the critics may not have loved it, but for the most part young America did.

70% on RT for a comedy is actually rated pretty damn high.

Well, caring what college kids feel about the movie is pretty important since they're the ones who brought it to borderline cult status. You feel it was never rated highly to begin with just basing it off critic reviews and RT. The demographic who was obsessed with ND isn't gonna be posting on Rotten Tomatoes.
