Maybe it's just me, but I don't really think Adam is ahead of everyone. I heard what the judges said and I just happen to disagree. Adam can sing, but he also screams a lot of what he is singing and it is an annoying high pitch type scream. Plus WTF is up with his hair? Something is just wierd about that dude all around. For that matter almost everyone on the show last night had a red or purple streak running through their hair. Is that current? I don't think so, it just looks dumb.

I like the Gokey guy and the dueling piano guy.

Nope. I agree 100% with you. I've never thought he was any good. Even after his audition. I wanted to really like him, but i could tell I was trying hard to convince myself. Honestly, I find a lot of the praise toward him to be condescending and embarrassing. It's like it doesn't matter how good you are, if you have a disability and you put yourself on a stage I have to say how courageous you are? It might be impressive if he was the first blind guy to ever get on stage and sing, but as we all know some of the greatest musicians in history were blind.

Granted, it's not fair to compare him to Stevie Wonder or Ray Charles or Charlie Pride or any number of blind singers, but to patronize him in the way the judges often do isn't fair either. He's not a very good singer (yeah, he's better than me) but he's not good enough to be on the show.

The thing Scott has going for him is that he sings with conviction and he's a musician who respects and loves music. Is he the best singer in the competition? Hell no. But I'd much rather listen to him sing what he sang last night than someone like that Jasmine girl belt out impressive notes while exhibiting all the conviction and heartfelt emotion of a block of wood.

Barring something ridiculous happening, your top three will be Adam, Danny, and Lil Rounds. The only others I would put in their league are Allison (16 year old red head) and Matt G (dueling piano guy). I think Allison might have more upside as a performer than any of them, but unfortunately she's a real idiot whenever anyone puts a mic in front of her and she's not singing into it.

Anoop and Jasmine should leave tonight.

Charley Pride was blind? I don't think so. He was vying to become a major league pitcher at one point. But I don't recall him developing blindness. Jose Feliciano, yes, but not Charley Pride.

I've caught segments here and there as I've come home from work late with my fam and overall this is a really weak lot of singers. And to have them sing MJ songs seems stale to me. Time for Hollywood to let him go. Also, time for AI to let tattooed chick go.

Adam – This guy is simply horrible. He’s completely over the top and this should be expected based on his theatre background. He deserves to get the boot tonight.

Alexis – Decent performance last night. I don’t see her making it to the final 5

Allison – Good performance and she knows what kind of music she wants to sing. I’m sure the producers cringed when she mentioned her cutting comment.

Anoop – Solid performance last night. He’s very likable and he stands out.

Danny – He’s my pick to win it all. He brings it every week and I’m glad they didn’t mention how his wife recently died last night. Not to sound cold, but I was sick of hearing it.

Jasmine – Good vocals but she’s boring. She will be gone within the next 3 weeks.

Jorge – Simply awful last night. I don’t see him lasting long.

Matt – Decent singer and completely forgettable

Kris – Loved his performance last night. With his guitar, he reminds me of Jason Mraz. I cracked up when Simon said it was too early to bring out the wife, lol. I think Paula wants to get in his pants.

Lil – Great voice but there’s nothing original about her.

Megan – A very beautiful young lady from the neck up What’s the deal with that hideous arm tattoo? She looks really awkward on stage, Based on looks, I hope she sticks around but she has no chance of winning this season.

Michael – Completely forgettable performer.

Scott – He was one of the weakest last night but he will coast for a few weeks because he is blind. He’s going to get the sympathy vote. He’s one of the weakest singers in the group but he has passion. I can feel the music is coming from his heart.

What is up with Megan's (tattoo girl) dancing? She has absolutely no rythym. She does like a mini twist and shoulder move to every song she sings. It looks like a 3 year old girl in a beauty pagent who can only do exactly what mom has taught her. It's painful to watch.

Adam's head movements or bobs or whatever they are really annoy me. I guess it is the theater background coming out, but there is just something so unlikeable about him to me. I don't know what it is, but my fiance feels the same way.

Good to see Jorge gone, he had no business making it in over Ju-not Joyner anyway. I would have liked to have seen Scott go over Jasmine, but c'est la vie.

What do people think of the Judge's save? I for one like it a lot given how stupid America can be when voting.

I quit watching this after Steven was somehow missing from the wild card round and Ju-Not wasn't picked. This is the worst group of singers I've seen on the show in awhile except for Lil Rounds and the Roughneck guy.

What do people think of the Judge's save? I for one like it a lot given how stupid America can be when voting.

I like it, but it's a little awkward how it's implemented. It should be that the person is considered gone, and if they want, the judges can stop the show and notify us that the person has been saved. As it is, it's a little weird to see them standing there and have Seacrest ask the judges if they want to save that person and then have the judges look the person in the eye and say, "Nah."

I could care less about the save feature unless it's going to be used to save Adam. They mentioned Chris Daughtry as one of the people that left too soon but even if they had the save feature in his season, it wouldn't have been used because he was in the top 5.

I have a feeling Kayne didn't bother to talk to the contestants backstage. Whenever they have a guest, they usually interview the performer before they sing, but Ryan didn't even interview Kayne. By the way, he's a terrible "singer".

AI shows no signs of slowing down. AI could lose have of it's audience and it would still be one of the highest rated shows on TV. As long as the judges and host want to stick around, this show could easily go at least another 10 seasons.
