Re: Any Fans of the TV Show "Martin"?
The Show was horrible after Gina left and they tried that wack spin off with Pam working for the record company. They also started stealing shows from others.
case in point they stole a Stanford and Son show about the wife signing on the wrong place on the Wedding Certificate. They used Pam instead of Aunt Estha.
Season 5 sucked but the show as a whole was greatComment

I just picked this up
http://www.amazon.com/Martin-The-Com.../dp/B001MTEXS8
$49.99 for the complete series is a steal!
Edit: it was 49.99, but I guess it was Amazon's deal of the day. The price has since gone up.
easily my favorite show of all time. just so damn funny. i have watched every episode at least 20 times and still laugh my *** off. i think it was the best comedy of all time.
Some solid solid moments on that show.
I love when Martin and Gina think they won the lottery... and all the money... but it turns out like 500 other people also won.... so they get like a 1,000 dollar check.
The only thing about the show I don't like is that Martin Lawrence was charged with some type of sexual harassment against Tisha Campbell (Gina)... I never really could look at the show again after that.
u can tell when Martin started tripping cuz he just started to look different. plus he wasnt as funny anymore. a bad ending to a great show.
You're right about that man. You can tell around season 5, is when he started falling off and the drug use took it's toll on him. His movies after that were never funny either. I watched 'Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins' yesterday for the first time and although it had a couple of funny moments, it was like he was a shell of his former self, not even the same guy. And that was one of his funnier movies. The others have just been atrocious IMO.
What was really amazing about that show was the improvisation of it all. You could tell much of it was just off the cuff and in alot of episodes you could see them fighting back laughing in the middle of a scene.
Roscoe Jenkins was the first decent movie he had done in a VERY long time. i enjoyed that movie. most of his movies since BLUE STREAK has been trash though, plain and simple.

Toss up between Martin and Fresh Prince, IMO.
Both had their highs and lows.#RespectTheCultureComment
