I personally can say there have been times where I wanted to smack the "YOU KNOW WHAT" out of a woman but was raised by my Father, Uncles, other mature male figures in my life that it is wrong and if I ever did that they would literally kill me. I teach my 3 sons the same. Hitting a woman under no circumstance unless my life was in jeapordy is it acceptable and I hope most men feel the same. Peace!!!! Lakers do it again!!!!!

It was for R&B Album of the Year. Al Green was another one of the nominees I believe and I think Jennifer Hudson won it. Pretty big award.

I've never hit a woman in my life. However, I can't say I'd be surprised if she caught a backhand for giving him herpes.

To each his own, I've had a woman rush me before and I grabbed her and restrained her. For me it just has to be a Life & Death situation and that's just from my upbringing. I'd rather take my chances at restraining the woman than getting a criminal record, possibly ruining my chances of getting a great job, and at worse going to jail and one of those big guys finding out what I'm in for and decides to take justice in their own hands. If you gotta hit, then a couple should not be together. In Calif. where I'm from if you get into a domestic confrontation and you are arrested even if the woman drops the case, the State picks it up, at least that's the way it used to be. I have 4 sisters and one of them had the crap beaten out of her for talking back to her boyfriend. My sister looked like she had been hit with a bat. I was devastated!!! Fellows you had to see it to believe it. Now when I confronted her boyfriend he would not come outside and confront me. That's a real man right? Maybe I just feel different about these types of situations. Peace!!!!!

I have a rule. Man or woman, if you hit me in the face, you run the risk of getting hit back. There is a big difference between beating and abusing a woman and hitting someone back in retaliation. I've had an ex of mine go off and hit me while i was driving a car. Did I hit her back? No, but i would have been justified if I did.
