The milk scene and the bar scene were amazing - they have to be two of the most tense scenes in film.

Re: Inglourious Basterds
It's been a long time coming, but I finally got around to seeing this film. I very much enjoyed it. I was actually tinkering on my laptop near the beginning and I simply became too engrossed in the movie to multi-task. I won't say it exceeded my expectations, but it met them. Christopher Waltz did a fine job, but my character preference was both Brad Pitt's character and Eli Roth's (The Bear Jew). I'm not someone who can diagnose good and bad acting very well so I can't comment much on what Pitt did or did not do well in that regard. I can just say I really enjoyed the roles played by both men.
Also, the movie did not drag for me. This may have to do with watching The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford a night earlier (another film I enjoy). Brad Pitt is coming around for me. I'm sure many of you are familiar with a lot of his work but I mostly only knew him from a few films. I'd say there's at least three movies now for which I've been very entertained by his appearance (Inglorious, Jesse James, and Snatch).Comment
