    Fireproof

I don't know how many people here are religious and I don't want to get into religion; but I saw Fireproof about two days ago and it was good. The acting isn't top notch yet it did get better as the movie went on. The overall tone and story were pretty well done.

For anyone that is religious, it did have meaning behind the story. It was very well told. The story sort of goes beyond that though, its about love and sometimes how two people who drift apart can get back together if love truly exist between them.

Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something touching to watch.

Yeah i quite enjoyed it... I was hoping Cameron would beat the crap out of the doctor though.

The train scene was quite intense.

I've heard a lot about it as well; it's supposedly made by the same guy who made Facing The Giants

Yeah, it's a great movie. I love both this and "Facing the Giants." Considering that just about all of the actors are just regular church members, the acting is very decent. I actually hated Kirk's acting in the Left Behind movies, but I think he did really well in this. Our church is having a couple's movie and dinner night on Friday and we're watching it. We're actually going through a study with it right now as well.

I finally watched this evening and I was bawling at the end of it. I thought as a movie that the plot was well thought out as I didn't have the "that doesn't make sense" thoughts...I also love the little things, like the doctor who was wooing the lady was married (but chose not to wear his own wedding ring). and the old lady telling the woman the deal about that doctor.

For a Christian movie, most of them aren't put together very good but this gets a major kudos.

being a firefighter, i have to say, it was the best movie with relation to the job i'd ever seen! my wife dragged me to see it when it 1st came out, and we both loved it. i bought it as soon as it hit dvd.

the message is strong and true, "never leave your partner behind!"...
I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...

My significant other and I watched it last night and it really made me love and appreciate her THAT much more!!

I'd also like to co-sign on the intensity of the train scene. I swear we were both on the couch holding our breath.
