Hard to say Ed Norton, because he was great in Fight Club.
As for my choice, I would have to say Michael C. Hall. I know this falls into the category of tv actors, but it's hard to picture him in anything else. And I know a lot of you who saw him first in 6 Feet Under will probably say otherwise, but I think he took the character of Dexter to a whole new level and it's hard not to think of him as a killer if he's in anything else.Comment

I HATED Marlo's character in Heroes. Just couldn't stand it. He took all of Marlo's swagger away away with that and I everytime I said something about him to someone I called him Marlo.
Jaleel White can never be anyone besides Steve urkel, even when he's playing himself. At the most he could be Stefan, but he'll never be anyone outside that character to me.

As far as an actor/actress being type casted, my favorite example is 80s actor William Zabka. He always played the bully bada** in such great roles as Johnny in Karate Kid and Greg in Just One of the Guys.My Teams:

Not at all, even if Norton's character DIDN'T do a complete 180 midway throught the movie.
Don't see it. I watch Col. Daniels as another authority figure on Fringe and Rawls as a corporate bigwig on Damages and there is no "character conflict" whatsoever.Comment
