Re: Can you name an actor who......
very true. He's a legend and is obviously not typecast. Im just talking about myself. His role as Augustus McRae is the best ive ever seen by any actor and every time I see Duval in a movie these days I think of his McRae character.Last edited by ZB9; 03-14-2009, 04:17 PM.Comment

Re: Can you name an actor who......
....was SO GOOD in a role, that they cannot do another role without ruining the new one??
For instance, I cannot picture James Gandolfini in ANY other role other than Tony Soprano. When I saw The Last Castle on cable the other night, I literally couldn't watch it. Tony Soprano had no business being a warden.
Another one is Jeremy Piven. Even though he has done excellent work throughout his career, I can only picture him as Ari Gold from now on.
You guys have any others??Comment

"You see that fella in the red sweather over there? His name's Donnie McCoy. Works a few of the protection rackets for Cunnaro when he's waiting for something better to happen. Donnie and I have known each other since we were six. Take a good look at that face, Floyd. Because if he ever finds out I can be beat by one lousy grifter, I'll have to kill him and every other hood who wants to muscle in on my Chicago operation."
To each his own. Much more memorable in a much better movie (The Sting) as Doyle Lonnigan. Died way too young.Comment

First name to come to my mind is Kevin James. No matter what movie I see him he will always be Doug Heffernan (King Of Queens) to me.Comment
