The only thing with the variety packs is there's a lot of stuff in them I don't like. (flavored coffees, decaffeinated, teas).

If you check out that site I posted you pick 5 flavors (5 k cups each) and add them to a sampler. I think it's $12 so the price isn't too bad. I figure the max would be $.50/k cup

Keep an eye on Amazon. I've hit them at the right time on more than one occasion when they had a 50 pack of select K-Cups for $18. Totally worth it when you consider the price per cup.

Last time they had the sale, I picked up the Donut Shop coffee and loved it.

Green Mountain Breakfast Blend (~24)
Donut Shop Coffee People (~24)
Green Mountain Flavored Variety (22)

Any other brand suggestions?

Never really drank coffee until my family got one of these. It's been a few years now. We started off doing just the K-Cups, then we got the one that you can use your own coffee with. It was super convenient because my girlfriend was working at StarBucks at the time, and they give them a pound of coffee free a week. She's not there anymore, but we loaded up on the coffee so we're set for a while. But I'd say it's almost necessary to get the one where you can put your own coffee into it because it'll cut way down on costs. Unless you really love the K-Cup kinds you're getting. They do have some good ones. Newman's, Green Mountain, Donut Shop are my favorites.

Also works well for hot cocoa or tea. I just let it make the hot water and then add a packet of Swiss Miss or a tea bag. I experimented with putting the Swiss Miss mixture into the K-Cup but it made a mess.

There's a bunch of different models, but mine only has two brewing size options. It displays a little tea cup, or a coffee mug (bigger). '

Well I am done buying stuff for her!

I got her about 75 K-cups and a holder with a few beverage holders.

I purchased a wide variety of coffee & tea. Hopefully she likes them! Thanks for all the input I hope she loves it

well, the old lady bought me the Keurig Mini Plus for my birthday.. or shall i say our birthday, we share the same birthday lol..

disipointed that it only does 10oz's.. my cups at home hold 14oz's!!

what is available for more oz's, or is it really not worth the extra cash?

i see this mini plus runs about 100 online.. she got it at a local jcpennys for 50 bucks, they were getting rid of stock.

edit - just looked on their official site, for about 150 to 170 they have 1 or 2 that does 12 oz's, but IMO not worth the extra flow.. ill stick with this one, seems to be a popular model bc of it being so small and portable!!

from reading the thread here, the donut k-cups seem to be very popular. any other suggestions?

Just picked-up a Keurig B-77 from costco, with a variety of 72 k-cup coffee's for $140.00. I'm a hard-core coffee drinker & was looking to upgrade my coffee maker.

Enjoying a cup as I type of Donut Shop from the Keurig assorted pack. Not bad @ all. Also love that you can get your own k-cup filter which for me is great because I like to buy my own personal coffee

Totally agree. I love that I can make my own in the K-cup filter. I like to use Dunkin' Donuts and I think it tastes pretty darn good. Much better than the pots of coffee I used to make for my wife and I.

I don't think you can go wrong with a Keurig. Oh, and the Donut Shop coffee is pretty good too.

Hey Fiddy, I agree with the 10 oz option. I always look in my cup and think....I might need a second small cup in a bit. I still can't believe how much more I (we) enjoy our coffee.

Avoid Grove Square Coffee. I bought an 18 pack a couple of days ago at WalMart and noticed the cups were really light. It is instant coffee with no filter!!

Avoid Grove Square Coffee. I bought an 18 pack a couple of days ago at WalMart and noticed the cups were really light. It is instant coffee with no filter!!

so not all these K-Cups have filters? im new to this lol.. just trying to figure it out.

i just tried a french vanilla i had in my variety pack that came with it.

dumb question, but do you guys add anything to these K-Cups? milk, creamer, etc?

i also noticed a decent amount floating around in my cup.. is that suppose to happen? lol..
