Re: Better Off Ted
Awesome!
This is a nice surprise. Now I have something to look forward to on television tonight."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: Better Off Ted
Another great episode.
I forget the employees name but Linda's exchange with Veronica was hilarious.
Veronica: We could have lunch.
Linda: I'd like to, but I have the Doppler report to finish.
Veronica: You'll be with the boss. I can give the report to [employee].
Linda: I don't even like doing the Doppler reports.
Veronica: And I don't like [employee], so everyone wins."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Re: Better Off Ted
It definitely had me rolling. Portia is great as Veronica. I think she deserves a Supporting Actor nomination for the role.
There was another really funny part that unfortunately slipped my mind. I might have to rewatch the episode to remember what line had me rolling as well."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Except that the actor is gay."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Re: Better Off Ted
SpoilerWhat can I say? It was the drugs again
I just love the drugs(or something along the lines of that)
I'd do them on a train, I'd do them in the rain.
The rhyming part was just funny to me in both of them.Comment
