I still watch the Simpsons too...but it seems they get more family guyish by the week...a "meets" episode is over due IMO

    Southpark....ugh cant get into it
Well madden is the most popular game and it is awful
    Pais hilton has a career.
Brittny Spears got her career back.
People are stupid. In fact i find that if its popular or starts getting to popular (FG) then they start catering to their stupid crowd and thus drives me away. The humor is sad. The only humor i get from family guy anymore is laugh at how bad the show is and that people still think its quality.

South park is outlandish but they have smart points behind their episodes. Watching family guy is not what it used to be. But thats what happens when you cater to our young (and dumb) generation.

So while family guys rating may still be high, the quality of people watching it isnt. Just like this very forum. IT used to be where people posted with some sense and respect. Now its filled with madden cheeseheads who come on the other boards. Just like family guy, its getting more popular but harder and harder to find a good relevant post. It doesnt count that you have lowered your standards

For all those who think family guy is better than the simpsons, do watch the shows or just promote famliy guy?

if u dont like that show thats fine, but dont put down the people that do watch it cuz then u are just like the people u are complaining about in the madden forum. i dont like South Park but you dont see me saying anyone who watches it is an idiot.

Well thats the point i did like it. I know it well. I hate where its going as well as this forum. Doesnt mean at the first sign of trouble i run. I saw my first sign with fg 3 years ago and im close to giving up on it. This forum will be fine a month after madden is released. Thats why im here. Football games.

And you've noticed this huge decline in no more than 21 days? Nice way to insult a message board that you've voluntarily clicked on.

Back to the topic, haven't had much time to watch either faithfully. But the few episodes of the Simpsons have been better than FG.

Don't care for South Park much, but the movie was good.

Tough to say b/c comedy is subjective; not everyone likes the same things.

For me, The Simpsons was my show all through Jr. High and High School; then when I hit college in 1997, I became a fan of South Park when it hit the scene.

Today? It's Family Guy that I find the most enjoyable to watch. Blue Harvest is pure gold.

That's probably the worst, nonsensical, biased post I've ever read.

LOL, how could I do anything BUT laugh at that?

the Simpsons used to be one of the best shows on TV.
While FG has never reached beyond mediocrity.

Agree with pjv31, MacFarlane is definitly annoying.

FG gets my vote. I liked FG a lot when they had those re-runs on Adult Swim before they came back. But now I can't stand watching the show. The tipping point for me was the got damn musical that went on forever (Conway Twitter?). Although recently I saw an episode that had me LMAO but I'm not sure how new/old that one was.

Simpsons was pretty low for a while but like others are saying it had such a long period of high.

And yeah count me in as one of the fans of King of the Hill. I haven't seen the new episodes and heard they suck, but the older ones were pure gold.

Im so glad others are seeing this. I stay away from politics for a reason. If you gonna joke, go after both sides evenly. Thats been the biggest sign to me. That and the fact the make us watch conway twitty just because they can. Ugh.
