Re: TMZ - Tupac Alive and Spotted?
If 2pac was still alive I'm pretty sure he would of killed himself for what hip hop was turned into and all the sub-par remixes done of his songs.
Soulja boy alone would of made Pac wish he didnt "fake" his death.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment

Re: TMZ - Tupac Alive and Spotted?
I just dont know why he's made out to be some kind of community helper
I really did see Suge Knight though buying barbeque at a church barbeque spot
He did had a gang of dudes mad dogging anyone that walked within 15 feet of him. He didnt seem all that mean and huffy and is totally nowhere near as big as it might seem in pics. I think that one guy knocking him out cold really calmed him downComment

Re: TMZ - Tupac Alive and Spotted?
Although this could certainly be it's own thread I will broach the subject once again. Celebrities, musicians, actors, etc do often touch more people's lives than regular, every-day people. This is not meant to say that their lives mean more than the regular, every-day folks by any means. However, it is meant to convey the idea that more people are affected by what they do, what they say and what happens to them.
Human beings simply do not have the time nor the methods to lament and follow each and every, average Joe out there so that is why we have celebrities and mega-stars like 2pac. I hear this every time a famous person dies, the idea that their death is no different than a neighbor's death 2 blocks over, or a firefighter, or even a soldier or someone else partaking in a noble and no doubt far more important activity.
The simple fact though is that celebrities represent various segments of society. That is why folks relate to them differently than anyone else. They are not necessarily relating to the actual person but what they represent. 2Pac dying didn't just affect people because of him dying, it was heartbreaking to so many because they identified with the ideals and struggles that he had endured, and triumphed over until his untimely death.
As for his death being gang-related, one can debate that. What happened was he got into a fight and the guy who him and his buddies ended beating up came back and shot him. This could happen to anyone who has ever been in a fight.
I can see where a parent wouldn't want 2pac as a role model for his children. However, 2pac also represented a lot of good qualities that could put a positive influence in a childs life if one were mature enough to go beyond the surface of his, as someone called it, "persona". To read his poetry and interviews sheds greater light on far more deep issues than his "guns and ho's" songs. He also had a lot of songs dealing with deeper issues besides "brenda's got a baby". I have read many of his lyrics of his songs and they are quite profound in many ways.
I will also admit that 2pac's perseverance through his terrible, early years gave me inspiration when I was going through a very dark period in my life. He is the only celebrity I have ever taken the time to write a long, heartfelt letter to. I didn't expect him to read it but knowing that possibly he did is comfort enough. I'm sure he knew how many lives like mine he positively affected. Far more folks were helped by the man than led astray. The reason I believe this is real 2pac fans went beyond his image and "thug-living" lifestyle and got to know the man was far more intelligent and wise than it appeared on the surface.
I'm not sure I got my point across but hopefully you get the gist of it.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

How come Biggie don't never get this much attention? Or Pimp C?#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: TMZ - Tupac Alive and Spotted?
What, you mean the "he's alive" type of attention? It's because neither of them were as obsessed with death as Tupac. It's just that Pac said a lot of stuff that would seem to make him look like a prophet, and that intrigues people. Considering he took on a moniker like Makaveli the Don, it intrigued people even more when he died, along with the "I Ain't Mad Atcha" video that came out afterwards. For a lot of people, it just all seemed a little too coincidental so it was considered to possibly be a publicity stunt.
As for just plain attention, every Biggie thread I've seen on this site (two I think, both by 24th paying his respects in March) is mostly full of praise. The one Pimp C thread was locked because certain people came in to derail it intentionally.PS: You guys are great.

Re: TMZ - Tupac Alive and Spotted?
Man i'm just tired of all the conspiracies saying the man is alive.
I remember when it was 10 year anniversary, people were saying "Pac is coming back tonight!!" and now whether it's his birthday or anniversary of his death, people always want to create something new to make them believe he ain't dead. I'm surprised ain't nobody drive to his gravesite and tried to dig him up yet lol. Just let that man Chill in Peace lol.#RespectTheCultureComment

Yeah I remember the seven year "anniversary" and a lot of people thought he was coming back due the name of the Makaveli album (7 day theory). I'll admit, I was curious lol, and after the first few months after his death I wasn't really sure it wasn't a publicity stunt. After Big got killed though, I knew no matter what happened, Pac wasn't coming back. Even if he wasn't dead, there's no way he'd come back knowing his publicity stunt directly or indirectly led to his former friend's murder. So either way, he's gone.PS: You guys are great.
