I'm not saying it's profound or anything. I'm just saying don't attribute him saying "Thug Life" to him living the life of a thug.

He said countless times that he never sold drugs and never got into much trouble but was with dudes that were doing that and were telling their stories.

He put up a front in his music but if you watch interviews with him he was an extremely intelligent man. While I think his music catalog post-Me Against the World aka All Eyez On Me and the whole West Coast stuff really put a damper on what type of impact Pac could have had.

Listen to the album Me Against the World and tell me if you think he's still a "THUG", he was far from it. Unfortunately, his last album and the one people most associate themselves with was about nothing but West Coast, killing, money, women and other bull****. So to your point, I do agree but you have to look deeper into his career and his words as a whole.

But here, here's some lyrics for the actual Me Against the World song:
Addicted to killin and the appeal from the cap peelin
Without feelin, but will they last or be blasted?
      Hard headed bastard
Maybe he'll listen in his casket -- the aftermath
More bodies being buried -- I'm losing my homies in a hurry
      They're relocating to the cemetary
Got me worried, stressin, my vision's blurried
The question is will I live? No one in the world loves me
I'm headed for danger, don't trust strangers
Put one in the chamber whenever I'm feelin this anger
That's clearly him telling a story, it's not him saying "I'm shooting people and making money", he's painting a picture of the ghetto life and speaking about the negativity of it.

Hes dead. I know that for a fact. He would have never sat back and watched Soulja Boy act a fool and not come back with a new track or somethin
