Bone Thugs 1st album and East 1999 were crucial...every song was pretty much fire.

I wasn't a huge Biggie or Pac fan. I give them their due credit, but I was more of a Wu-Tang head.

Makaveli was a bad *** album though.

In no order... can't bring myself to do it... and this isn't an "essential albums" or "most influential/important" etc... just what I would have with me in that desert island hypothetical:

OutKast - ATLiens (bump that **** in your car with the windows down!)
The Coup - Genocide and Juice
                    Madvillain - Madvillainy
                    Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique
Brother Ali - Shadows on the Sun
De La Soul - Buhloone Mind State
                    Wyclef Jean - The Carnival
Jay-Z - MTV Unplugged (Jaguar Wright singing "Ain't No Love" FTW)
Devin the Dude - Waiting to Inhale ("She Useta Be" is the funniest song ever written)
                    MF Doom - Operation: Doomsday
