Re: YOUR Top 10 Hip-Hop Albums of All-Time

If anyone doesn't know my albums performers, that's on them

    1. Illmatic (only album that never fluctuates)
    2. Only Built 4 Cuban Linx
    3. 36 Chambers
    4. Liquid Swords
    5. It Was Written
    6. Ironman (most slept on album ever)
    7-8. Slim Shady/Marshall Mathers LPs
    9. Ready to Die
    10. Reasonable Doubt

I'm not much for diversity, especially in the top 6.

The rest that I like aren't much but mainstream stuff, but hey, I like production values. While not included, I love Straight out of Cashville and Tha Carter (the original). While not in the category as the above, those two are my two albums that I think if you can't enjoy, you take yourself way too seriously. I want to include an AZ album, but there's not one that's just dominant throughout.

SC has amazing production, but the rapping is garbage. Cappadonna went from nice to abysmal, and some of the hooks and verses are just whack. I'd put it behind Ironman and Fishscale.

I beg to differ. I thought Ghost had some of his most amazing lyrics on Supreme Clientele.

Daytona 500 is one of my favorite Ghost tracks, but Supreme Clientele is absolutely bonkers of an album.

Cappa was very nice on Ironman but then he changed his rhyming pattern up and has been worthless except for "Supermodel".

Completely forgot about EPMD. "Strictly Business" would be my favorite.

"...and if you tired, then go take a nap" - "You Gots To Chill". I'm bumping that in my office right now.

Already played Ghost's "IronMan" this morning. Frickin' classic!
