I haven't seen the 12 Angry Men remake so I can't comment on it.

As for Glengarry Glen Ross it probably slipped by you because it's not a big budget spectacle though it's a very well written and strong character driven movie. Some folks say it's also one of the last truly great acting performances by Al Pacino as well.

Lemmon's character Shelley "The Machine" Levine's story is a really neat updated take on the whole Death of a Salesman story. It's a fantastic movie so I hope you check it out.

#1 on my Netflix queue. You need to check out the 12 Angry Men remake. Well worth it.

Simply, hilarious. It helps when you're in a theater with others and can laugh along with them (in other words, I probably wouldn't find things as funny if I saw it by myself), but it really did have moments where you would literally go . Well casted and good use of cameo appearances, and it really tried to break more rules than say Knocked Up or Superbad, without involving Seth Rogen at all. Plus, Vegas is always something worth seeing. I need to first figure out its lasting appeal before considering buying it on Blu-ray when it comes out, but for the time being it was a great laugh out loud flick.
I re-watched this last night, and while it was very funny still (and I was with a large group of people), the fact that I sort of knew what they were going to say and such somewhat diminished the laugh-out-loud value. Plus I've configured that the scenes with the Asian guy are just bad and unfunny.

Though I do think I'll still be buying this on Blu-ray when it comes out. It is very entertaining and has scenes that I know I will always laugh at regardless. I just wish it had better replay value through a second viewing.

Movies I'm still waiting on seeing:

        - Terminator: Salvation
        - Star Trek
        - Drag Me to Hell
Funny that I haven't seen any of these yet.

I actually enjoyed the first one. The second was just downright bad.

If you have a redbox or dvdxpress it MIGHT be worth $1 to see for yourself.

                Michael Clayton...Brilliant...Wow.

My friend thought I wouldn't like it because it isn't amazing on the action side and thought that I wouldn't like slow movies...But the acting is amazing. Love how Clooney owns Swinton at the end...

I watched The Football Factory last night on Netflix instant watch. It was better than GSH.

So basically a gang that attach themselves to a soccer team, goes to the games and brawls with the other gangs? I can't believe that whole "Hooliganism" thing.

Watched Quarantine with my girlfriend. I saw it in the theater but she didn't. I know a lot of people didn't like it but even after a second viewing I enjoyed it.

                            Recent Movies

Kalifornia- I had watched it before but, my girlfriend had never seen it. It's a decent flick. I not really a big fan of Brad Pitt IRL but, this is another movie that he kicks a** in. His acting is definilty up there with some of his other roles like 12 monkeys, Fight Club, Inglourious Bastards, etc. Juliette Lewis also play's a decent role. I'm not sure why but, I'm oddly attracted to her.
This movie also feature a younger Michelle Forbes (Maryanne for you True Blood Fans).

                            My rating- 6.5/10

The Count of Monte Crisco- One of the best revenge movies of all time.

                            My Rating- 8.5/10

The Condemed- The Blu Ray was on sale for $10 a Wal Mart a few months back and I finally got around to watching it. I thought the movie had an interesting story line but, wasn't expecting much otherwise. However, this movie was actually much better than I expected (especially with Stone Cold as the leading man) and a pleasant surprise.

                            My Rating- 6/10

I don't know, i didn't go into viewing it expecting something good and walked away sort of impressed. The pacing was definitely akward and the end leaves much to be desired, but the movie wasn't all that bad

The last movie I watched at the theater was The Time Traveler's Wife.

My girlfriend saw the previews at the beginning of August and wanted to go see it. So, I made a deal her. I get my Madden Holiday (without grief) and we can go see her movie. Not a bad deal, IMO. I got a entire day of Madden for a two hour movie.

Anyways, It's a typical chick flick. However, I did find it to be more interesting than I thought it would be. There where parts that I didn't understand and was left scratching my head but, maybe I just need to watch it again.

All in all, I would say that if you want to score points with your girl then this movie would be better than most of the romantic comedies out there today. Plus, there's time travel and anything dealing with time travel is pretty cool, IMO
Especially, when you can tell you girlfriend that you wish you could travel forward (in time) to when Madden 11 comes out and watch her get pissed of at you.
