What movies have you seen recently?

Watched Star Wars Episode 2 last night, the gf & I are trying to watch them all in order...I've actually never seen 4-6.

If you've made it through the first two and genuinely like them, prepare to have your mind blown by the awesomeness of the next four.

Honestly, I'd love to hear your reaction after finishing the series. I've always wondered what someone would think if they had never seen 4-6 and watched all six in sequential order.

Just watch them in order. Don't complicate matters like this.

If you can survive the first two you'll love the last 4. The last 4 are your reward for sitting through the first 2.

Why would you watch the middle first, go back to the beginning, and then watch the end? It's not Memento.

EDIT: After thinking about it, I can see why someone would suggest it, but I still think it's completely unnecessary.

The Dark Knight Returns Part 2

Fantastic. Once again completly crushing Dark Knight Rises and delivering everything that should've and tried to but failed at. Imma go Infinte Earths for a second here and say there's some world out there where Heath Ledger didn't die,someone gave them all the money they'd need to make it and someone had the balls to make a rated R Batman movie then they made a live action of these two combined and it was one of the greatest movies ever made,sweeping the award shows. Unfortantly being animated and being in 2 parts holds it back from everything it could be but it's top notch anyway. This one is really,really,really,really,really pushing PG-13. Said that about the last one too but this one even more so. It's PG in Canada.

Watch Episodes IV-VI first and then watch the prequels. Good luck making it through Episodes I-II. Although, they may be easier to watch if you're not a huge Star Wars fan. I'm still scarred from Episode I, lol. Episode III was at least decent.

I wouldn't do that the first time, but as a fan that order makes sense to me.

Yeah, for a first-timer, I would recommend the release order of the films. Too much spoilerage watching the Prequels first.

Either in order or 4, 5, 1, 2, 3, 6 is the way I like to do it.

The reason I like to do 4 and 5 first is to pretend I don't know about certain revelations in the movies.

I liked Episode III just as much as the original trilogy, probably my second favorite of all of them. Episode II is my least favorite but still has some great scenes in it. When I think of the series as a whole, it is still one of my favorites. I do have a few cringe moments though, the top two being little kid Anakin during the space battle of Episode I and the musical number in Episode VI. Jar Jar is what he is, but I think I've seen the movies enough that I'm immune to him.

I just didn't want this movie to end. Paul Reiser didn't have enough lines in this movie.

Probably the best line of the movie, though, came from Timothy Daly while in the jail cell.....

Excellent. It did....linger a bit too much while at candyland, but it was still great from beginning to end.
