I watched it again last month myself. I like it quite immensely, but am not on the “love it” wagon. The actors and mystery tide me over, but if I rewatched again tonight it might be a chore.

And that’s not to say all movies need rewatchability for good value. I did watch it under the consideration of purchasing the Blu-ray though, and decided for now that I will pass.

Raging Bull. AS I understood that is autobiography.
But shooted well, although boxing was hilarious
By the way, I was watching it on French language (I am living in France, so I am trying to learn the language xd) but with English subtitles with the help of this service https://translationreport.com/french...ation-services.It was tough because its second movie with that practice in my life, so hard to understand something without services like that so if you want to go same tactics as me you should go for some help from tools and services like I mentioned above.

when you get deniro and pesci in the same film, you got something real special. wouldn't mind having one more collaboration with the two, maybe even something from Scorsese

yes, the Irishman is a nice one. By the way, I have read a book (The Irishman) and I remember the main plot fail in movie - there weren`t spy for Hoffa, like it was in a book. By the way, spying is so underrated when the speech is about to catch somebody you need, for example sms tracking (you can read some info about that here https://bitrebels.com/apps/free-sms-...-target-phone/) is a nice way to collect evidences for the man against you

Black Panther - Such a great film. I'd been burned out on superhero movies (and still am to a degree), but this is one I'll gladly watch, even though it is with some sadness knowing that Chadwick is no longer with us. The film stands as a great tribute to his talent (along with other films he appeared in).

Dial M For Murder - One of my favorite Hitchcock films. Based on a stage play (writer of the play also adapted the screenplay, which really helped, imo), I love how true to the play Hitchcock stayed, and using minimal sets really enhanced the storytelling and the drama/tension contained within.

Just saw Tenet for a third time yesterday evening. I can't think of things I don't have an answer to yet now. There are parts that I have mechanical questions regarding, but that's a different story entirely.

I was the only person in my theater, though. Safe as I was and exclusive as it felt, I was also saddened for the theater that played that just for me.

I have a feeling that people simply don't know theaters in my area are open. They wouldn't have any problem sitting in a theater with one other person and not have trouble feeling safe.

Dude! You're in for a treat. This is the movie Netflix spent a zillion dollars on with all of their CGI enhancements. I think it was a very good movie.

Random, but have you seen the deep-fakes on YouTube with the DeNiro de-aging? Makes you wonder if that's the route they'll take that technology if they can master that instead.

I don't think it's worth it. As a film guy, I don't know why anyone other than Sorcese would do it...I also think it showed big time in a bunch of scenes because you had a '40-ish' year old guy try to beat someone down outside that store early in the film but it looked like a guy in his 70s doing it - same with posture and even just walking. Put that next to DeNiro in GoodFella's beating down Joey Batts in the bar and it's worlds apart.

There are thousands of talented actors, so it just makes sense to use people age-appropriate to the characters and find your people. I didn't make it through the irishman, I might give it a second go.

interesting side-note, when it was first announced I automatically assumed it was picking up on his goodfella's character (who is 1/2 irish) 'Jimmy' ...and was disappointed when it wasn't. I thought that would have been cool to invent a whole story around what happened to him later in life.

Hard to invent a story when the guy in Goodfellas was based an real gangster and sentenced to prison.

Haven’t watched a movie in about six months. Sat down for The Peanut Butter Falcon. What a wholesome movie. The performances were spectacular, and the connection to each character was something I haven’t felt in a while. I believe it was nominated (not sure if it won) for feel good movie of the year. Pretty bang on, I’d say.

Big time crushing on Dakota Johnson in this too. And in my opinion, Shia LaBeouf doesn’t always get the credit he deserves. The guy can act.
