Agree with Bizer Rush Hour 2 was the best of the trilogy!!! Piss in my pants fun. Actually my whole family adore this trilogy.

      Alita Battle Angel (4K)

Fantastic movie. This was my 2nd time watching it, first since it's theatrical release, and I enjoyed it even more. The battle scenes are great, and just the general way that the story is presented is really compelling. Alita is a very fun character. I really hope that they are able to do a sequel.

Also, the images really pop on 4k. I originally saw it in Imax (maybe 3d?), and I do remember it looking stunning. I always kicked myself for not watching it in the higher resolution Dolby when I had the chance though.

I went into it having trepidation as to whether I'd like it, yet wanting to enjoy it more than I did. I do hope that it gets a sequel all the same, though. If it's any good, I'll get both of them on UHD.

Yeah, the movie cements the fact that Zach Snyder has become a parody of himself. He had (what felt like) 10× the budget of Dawn of the Dead and did nothing of merit.

          Complete disappointment.

2/5 - Giving it two points for the visual effects and solid camera work. Otherwise, a cliché- ridden mess that has too many leaps in logic.

I enjoyed it quite a bit, but I’m not surprised people are going to dislike it.

I like the original Rush Hour (1) the most.

If you're going back and watching buddy cop movies on HBO Max go watch Beverly Hills Cop. The second one if my favorite in that series but both 1 and 2 are great.

I recently watched "Lock Up" starring Sylvester Stallone. First time in many years I'd watched it and boy, it was ROUGH getting through the entire thing. A definite missed opportunity; a good script could've made this another big hit for Sly.

Man that mess was hot garbage but I couldn’t not look away from it, lol.

And the zombies were lame too. These people are dead yet my man is gonna have an outburst because another dead zombie lost their dead child(assuming that’s what it was). I was honestly surprised they didn’t have him speak with how he was acting.

And they had Ghost(Omari Hardwick)just go out sad and pathetic. I mean throwing hands with a dead zombie, come on now smh lol

The good news is they're only 90 minutes long if you decide to give any of them a shot. But it's too bad you don't like the first one, only because it's likely that means you won't like the second one.
Yeah, Rush Hour 2 is definitely the best of the 3. I absolutely adore the series though. Outside of maybe Space Jam and the Home Alone series (I pretty much watched those movies every single day when I was growing up), I'd guess I've seen the Rush Hour movies more than any other movie.

It's just such an interesting concept for a monster movie.

Street Fighter is a fun watch because of Raul Julia hamming it up and doing it for his kids. RIP.

We watched the original Mortal Kombat last night. Now I'm unsure if the new movie is really the worst of the two. I can put aside the 90s TV production budget and Johnny Cage is hilarious, but I forgot Highlander was Raiden in white Keds.
