I can't wait for season 2 to finally get here. I wasn't really a fan at the beginning of season 1 but by the 3rd episode I was hooked. The show grew on me too, especially that sweet & sexy little Sookie. LOL

Season 1 is on my list of shows to check out this summer...I've heard good things about True Blood.

I watched the 1/2 hour recap. The Producer says that anyone who read the books knows that Lafayette kicked the bucket.

I wonder if they are going to be following the exact same story line as the book because Lafayette was a great character.

No. My wife has read all the books that are out in the series, and she said a lot was the same for the first book/season, but a lot was different too; they've added quite a lot to add different story lines.

I saw the Season 1 recap show this weekend and I can't wait.

I finished re-watching the entire season on DVD and I hope they answer some of the question that left us.

Question.. when a human is turned out why isn't there a bigger deal made out of where the former human has vanished to?

For instance Jessica was turned out, and Bill told her she could not return to her family. It's assumed that the family doesn't care or anything. There was no reference to an investigation by her family.. Anyone care to explain?

WOW!!! Didn't expect that whole twist with Miss Jeanette. All this time I thought it was Lafayette, who the whole time when he was his in that basement, I kept wondering what they were turning and after seeing Eric, I knew they were at Fangtasia. I was waiting for Eric's appearance and they sure did a great job with the ending. We partially got to see how the vampires kill humans. Also seeing Eric with those foils in his hair had me chuckling. lol

So much to talk about after tonight's episode.
