I love this film, the acting in it is wonderful as well as the overall direction. Everything made sense to me except for the butler and the bear scene. The movie is genuinely creepy and when I watch, I can almost feel as tense as Jack Nicholson feels as he progresses in his insanity. Kubrick does an excellent job with the atmosphere of this film.
