      can't put in order.

RATM-Lyrics By De La Rocha, Genius Guitar by Morello, Pure awesome

Mastodon-Simple unadulterated kickassery. Amazing vocals with even better riffs

Alice In Chains-The Harmonies on songs like "Would" and "No Excuse" give me chills. RIP Layne

      Oasis-Noel Gallagher is a GENIUS.

Rush-Again, Kickassery. Listen to "YYZ" if you don't beleive me

Taking Back Sunday-My Emo-Pop side. Just good music

Muse-I like to think that they are the next Oasis.

Soundgarden-Cris Cornell can Yell and make it sound good

Pearl Jam-Good Music For the Soul

A7X-It's hard not to like them.

Metallica-OLD stuff, not new BC Hatfields drinking his voice away
And may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

Re: What are your favorite bands?

Right now it'd have to be:

Oasis-Noel's a genius and you can't argue with Liam's rockstar attitude.
Ryan Adams & The Cardinals- Same as above but replace Noel with Ryan Adams
          Editors-GREAT indie band from England.
          The Enemy-See above
          Foo Fighters

            Breaking Benjamin
-Hard to explain. Been my favorite band for about 6 years now. Best lyrics of any band out there today IMO
            Shinedown
-Vocals are the best in the rock industry. Sounds great no matter if they're live or in studio
            Theory of a Deadman
-Favorite sound as far as guitar riffs are concerned.
            12 Stones
-Good vocals, no fluff in the lyrics, good sound overall
            Black Stone Cherry
-Great southern rock band with a good range.
            Dave Matthews Band
-Hard not to like DMB. Soulful lyrics, the sax(RIP LeRoi), drums, and I actually like the fact that they have those 7 and 8 minute songs.
            The Wallflowers
-I think because it is Dylan's son, I'm biased to like the band. But still.
            Billy Currington
-Best country artist out right now IMO.
            Babyface
-Outstanding musical talent who can sing/write R&B songs and then play Eric Clapton in the same set.
            Credence Clearwater Revival
            -Fogerty is the man.
            The-Dream
-Best R&B artist out right now IMO. First album was incredible. Purple Kisses and Nikki were the best tracks but didn't get any play for some reason.
            Lyfe Jennings
-The Phoenix is one of my favorite R&B albums.
            Sevendust
-I only like about 8 of their songs, but those songs are easily in my top 250 of all-time, so they warrant a mention. This Life is my favorite followed by Skeleton Song.

And I'll add a few more..

            Akon
-I only like 1 or 2 mainstream songs, but I've got Freedom and Konvicted on my iPod. Must downloads are: Against The Grain and Sunny Day with Wyclef.
            The Goo Goo Dolls
-Whenever I think of 90's music, automatically think of them. Slide, Iris, Name are great songs. And unlike other bands from the 90's, they didn't fade in the '00s.

In no particular order except Breaking Benjamin being 1st.

Narrowing to a top five, and prefacing this by saying my list changes frequently, but:

                    Lostprophets
                    AC/DC

Well My Favorite Groups Change From Time To Time, But Here Is My Current Favs:

1.The Black Keys: Good, Straight Forward, Garage/Blusey Rock. Lots Of Catchy Stuff Here As Well.

2.Dream Theater: I Love The Long Intricate Songs These Guys Compose, Not To Mention The Variety Of Types Of Songs. The Only Real Fault With DT Is That They Show Off A Bit Too Much, As If To Prove How Great They Are.

3.The Airbourne Toxic Event: New Group On The Scene, That Just Has A Somewhat Unique Sound And Fun Music.

4.Death Cab For Cutie: Great For Relaxin. Something Melodic, For When I Don't Really Feel Like Headbangin'.

5.The Raconteurs: Jack White's Better Side IMO. Consolers Of The Lonely Is A Must Have.

6.Kings Of Leon:Another Rather Straight Forward Rock Group, Whose Sound Has Changed From Their Beginnings, But They Are Still Every Bit As Good, If Not Better.

I can't really explain why I like some bands and why I hate others. And some people will say that most "active rock" bands sound alike, but I apparently have a picky ear and some of my friends find that odd.

                        1.) Breaking Benjamin
                        2.) Tupelo Honey
                        3.) Shinedown
                        4.) Underwhelmed
                        5.) Royal Bliss
                        6.) Hurt
                        7.) Rise Against
8.) Evans Blue/Parabelle (I like old Evans Blue and new Evans Blue, but I still like Kevin Matisyn and I like what I've heard from Parabelle)
                        9.) Rains
                        10.) Halfdown Thomas
                        11.) Red
                        12.) Godsmack
                        13.) Chevelle
                        14.) Finger Eleven
                        15.) Halestorm

The Black Keys - love the blues/garage sound

Blue Cheer - glorious downtuned sludge.

TOOL - each song a sonic masterpiece most times in odd timing.
Plus Maynard best singer in music IMO

...and you will know us by the trail of dead. - can't really explain it. just listen to source tags and codes and you'll understand.
