Re: What are your favorite bands?

Edguy is a great band and I would have to say "Mandrake" is there best album along with "Hellfire Club".There are numerous bands I like, even love, but I'll keep it to three:

Edguy - German power metal, made famours by Iron Maiden's New Wave of British Heavy Metal, with a distinct 80's hard rock flare. Edguy is a group I enjoy mostly because the music makes me feel good. It's usually up-tempo and not nearly as bleak as most metal acts today. The screaching falsetto of frontman Tobias Sammett is the band's trademark, but the melodies are what drive the group. I've enjoyed every one of their albums beyond their debut "Kingdom of Madness," but my favorite is probably 2001's "Mandrake" as it captures everything that embodies Edguy. Incidentally, ever since that album Edguy has adopted a progressively more and more hard rock style but they still kick all kinds of ***.NFL - Buffalo Bills
 MLB - St Louis Cardinals
 NCAA Football - Michigan Wolverines
 NCAA Basketball - UK WildcatsComment

Have Heart is pretty cool. I like how they're a little more toned down than a lot of hardcore stuff.1) Have Heart- the greatest passion a band can have

Re: What are your favorite bands?

Yeah I guess there guitar riffs are pretty toned down rather than shreding and that bull they just keep it simple. I also just saw them live not that long ago. I must say it was one of the most violent shows I have been to in a wile. Saw a dude get hit with a broom and my bro throw a trash can on someone and they were messed up haha. Got to love the underground.MCRD October 29. Oh Rah!

Re: What are your favorite bands?

Tough to pare this down. I'll go for 10 (sort of)...

 Opeth
 The Dillinger Escape Plan
 Primus
 Kyuss/Queens of the Stone Age
At the Drive In/The Mars Volta
 Alice in Chains
 Pearl Jam
 Nine Inch Nails
 Tool
 Muse

Glad to see Opeth is getting some love, probably my favorite band these days. Incredible stuff, and an epic live show. Blackwater Park is probably my favorite album of this decade.

Honorable mention to 311, Pink Floyd, and LCD Soundsystem. Also, not putting them here yet, but I've also started listening to Massive Attack recently, like what I hear.PSN: TheEnglishHombreComment
